ROBERT L. WARD
Rob has over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry. In 1974, Rob joined Westcor and served as its chief executive officer from 1994 to 2002. Prior to joining Westcor, he spent 10 years with Coldwell Banker in the San Francisco Bay area and in Phoenix, moving to Phoenix in 1967. Rob’s affiliations include The Thunderbirds, the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, the International Council of Shopping Centers (Chairman in 2000 and 2001 and a lifetime Trustee). His past affiliations include Greater Phoenix Leadership, GPEC, Board of Directors Paradise Valley Country Club, Arizona Bank, Five Star Insurance Company and trustee at University of California Berkeley. He received a BS from the University of California at Berkeley in 1963. Mary has been his wife for 45 plus years, they have three grown children and nine grandchildren.
GILBERT W. CHESTER
Wally arrived in Arizona in 1960 and enrolled in the University of Arizona. Wally graduated in 1964 with a BA in History and enrolled in the University of Arizona School of Law. He graduated from Law School in 1967 with a Juris Doctor degree. He joined the Marine Corps in 1967 and served one year of active duty and six years of reserve duty retiring as a Captain in 1974. Wally practiced law in Phoenix during this period until June of 1974 when he joined Westcor, where he advanced to the position of executive vice president of regional center development. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Wally has been a featured speaker for the ICSC, in addition to the Urban Land Institute. His community activities include being a founding member of Social Venture Partners of Arizona, past Chair of the Board of Regents of Brophy College Preparatory and a Board of Trustees member. He is past Chairman of the National Board of Directors of the Arizona Alumni Association, AAA Arizona, San Francisco based Auto Club holding company ACA and a member of the Board of Directors of the California State Automobile Association Inter-Insurance Bureau. Wally is a member of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus Advisory Committee, on the Board of Trustees of the University of Arizona Foundation, on the board of the Arizona Cancer Center and former President of Phoenix Country Club. Chester is married to Susan Todd Chester whom he met at the University of Arizona. Wally and Susan have three sons and eight grandchildren.
JOHN F. RASOR
Jack joined Westcor in 1972 and helped direct its development activities for over 30 years. As Westcor’s executive vice president of development, Jack’s development experience included more than 15 million square feet of regional, neighborhood, specialty and power shopping centers, over one million square feet of office and industrial projects, and the development of the peripheral land surrounding Westcor’s regional shopping centers. He has served as state director and regional trustee for the International Council of Shopping Centers, is a founding member of Social Venture Partners of Arizona and is a member of The Thunderbirds. He attended Brophy College Preparatory, Dartmouth College and Arizona State University Law School. A native Phoenician, Jack currently resides in Scottsdale with his wife, Heidi, and their daughter.
ROBERT G. MAYHALL
Bob joined Westcor in 1989 and became Westcor’s chief financial officer in 1994. As CFO, Mayhall was responsible for partnership capitalization and liquidity, project finance, financial planning and capital allocation, partner relations, and information systems. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. Prior to joining Westcor, Mayhall was a Vice President in the Corporate and International Banking Division of Lloyds Bank International. He earned a BSFS degree from Georgetown University and a MS in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
TODD W. CHESTER
Todd joined WDP in 2003, and is responsible for identifying, acquiring and managing development projects. Prior to joining WDP, Todd spent three years with Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal on the real estate consulting side, followed by six years with Opus West Corporation developing office, industrial and retail projects. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers and Valley Partnership. He served on the Executive Council of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix for 8 years and is a member of The Thunderbirds. A native of Phoenix, Todd attended Brophy College Preparatory and graduated with a BS from the University of Arizona. He and his wife Katie, whom he met at the University of Arizona, have four young children.
